This is a portion of Ginkgo Biloba also known as the Maidenhair tree. I really like the shape and color of the leaves - they were the first to change color from green to yellow. Enjoy and Have a Great Weekend!!!!
Laura, we have 'Ginkgo biloba' trees in my country as well (only as cultivars). Our cultivars are not that large and are mainly used to produce traditional medicines. I've never seen a Ginkgo in the Autumn. Therefore your image is very special to me. Thanks for this very fine and colorful post. Taken very well!

The leaves on this tree are shaped very lovely and the yellow color in autumn is beautiful. The image with the red berries in the background from the other tree is very pretty, Laura.
I love the ginkgo leaves as well Laura - we have two in front of my condo building and those golden fan shaped leaves are some of my favorites. This is beautiful golden autumn capture.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
