While taking a picture of this sunflower, I was treated to a bonus as a yellow swallowtail butterfly decided to take a bit of nourishment. Kindly Enjoy!!!!! Wishing everyone at Caedes a great weekend, however, my thoughts and prayers are with the people in the path of hurricane Irma that is due to make landfall in Florida on Sunday. Hoping that it changes course during the next three days and takes a sharp right turn toward the ocean.

I agree with your sentiments Laura re the hurricane. How nice of the butterfly to photo-bomb your shot - well timed capture.

A very nice shot of the sunflower and guest Laura. Let us hope that the hurricane's path takes a curve without making a landfall on Florida.

A splendid Foofy Friday image, Laura.
The swallowtail is the figuratively 'cherry on top of the cake'.

As you may know, the hurricane 'Irma' has struck the Caribbean. On the French/Dutch island Saint-Martin at least 9 people were killed up till now (by Friday morning LT, September 8th). There's a fear for more victims, because a proper communication with the island isn't still possible. I saw on our TV channels that the island was completely destroyed. An imaginable devastation!
'Irma' is now on its way to the USA (Florida) and will be expected in the morning hours of September 10th (LT). Its force will be reduced somewhat (to a grade 4 hurricane), but still very powerful.
When I say that the people living in the way of 'Irma' are in my thoughts and prayers, know for sure that this isn't a clich!

Wish you a great weekend though, my friend.

What a radiantly cheerful photograph! You can't look at it and not smile. Really wonderful!!

Yes, the Atlantic seems enraged right now. With Harvey, Irma, and now Jose coming to life, all back-to-back. I think we are all holding our breath on Irma, Laura. My heart and prayers go out to everyone in its path and I am feeling frustration for all of those who are desperately trying to get out and can't or who are being subjected to horrific price gouging (by the airlines and such) in order to escape. I think they should make that illegal.
