I just recently found out the name of this iris. It is called Blue Diamond Dutch Iris - This iris was from one of my bouquets which I retrieved from my archived files - I find these flowers to be special as they are so pretty and look wonderful as a bunch in a vase and, of course, bouquets - Hope you like it - As always, I'm wishing everyone at Caedes a Great Weekend!!!!!!

I love iris and this blue/purple is a favorite color - it is the color of Tanzanite. Just beautiful Laura!

Laura, when hearing the name 'Blue Diamond', it inevitably associates me with a former Dutch band (with band members from the former Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia) called the Blue Diamonds. For the fans this band performed beautiful and moody music.
If I make the comparison with your beautiful Foofy Friday (F²) contribution, it's a bit like comparing apples and oranges. They do have a common factor however: creating the right mood. In that respect you've done very well.
