Laura, your beautiful photograph of a yellow Hibiscus with its visitor reminds me of the following story I read: Although they are small creatures, bees and similar insects have an important role in pollinating flowers and crops. Due to a massive death of bees in China, the fruit trees weren't pollinated naturally, so that the fruit harvest there threatened to fail. To prevent that, people were called in for manual pollination.
