The peony patch is long gone and I have a number of images in my file yet to be posted - The weather was so nice when I was in the patch shooting the peonies - However, today in my area here in Jersey - we are experiencing hazy skies and dangerous air quality and are advised to stay indoors - this is due to the wildfires in Canada which is affecting 16 states.

I was wondering how you were faring with all that smoke I saw on the news - we've had air quality alerts for several days lately and having asthma I have not been out on those days. I love peonies and this one is lovely and I look forward to your others Laura!

PS: even on our news channels (in particular TV-channels and papers) wide attention was given to the wildfires in Canada which is affecting many USA-states now. Although in the Dutch language, by checking-out THIS LINK you can see/read an impression of this news the Dutch people is given.
