This is something new I tried, these are the same trees as in Silhouettes, but taken at twilight. I took this one after the first, and wanted to upload both, but I didn't want them to be too similar. Anyway, I had fun messing around with it and trying to give it a surreal feeling... Thanks for looking!

I prefer the original simply because I like silhouettes. However this is quite differrent. The trees seem to be wilting under extreme heat. Nice Experiment just the same.

Hey Jess,
I love your Silhouette but I love this one even better, Looks like "water paint",
There is a mystic feel about it, I saw it in the previous version and it is exaggerated in this one, I love that,
I also like the fact that the trees are smaller, they fit better in the landscape.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.
Well Jess, being honest, I prefer Silhouettes. This one gives a surreal "aqua-paint" feeling. It seems there is a lot of "thermique" during a very hot day. I'm curious about the original photo.
Anyway I like this one too!!! Nice experiment!

I really like both of them. I think they have two very distinct feels to them. This one definitely has some great colors in it and the effect on the trees is quite nifty. Keep up the great work :)
