Last Thursday (December 13th)we had a thick fog all day. I took this in my backyard, it really isn't a gloomy place usually. I added a bit of black fog and contrast to enhance the gloomy atmosphere. It's a bit different from what I usually do but I hope you'll like it!

L'arbre de premier plan contraste bien avec l'arrière plan. Sa branche de droite semble protéger l'arbre de l'arrière plan. Il y a un tout petit peu trop de fog pour moi.

I love the dramatic feel to this. Would've preferred this without the patterned "fog", and maybe a little fine tuning of your black levels, but a great shot nonetheless. Very well composed.
