I think it is cool. The pictcher looks half frozen. Great effect. Sometimes the neatest things come from Boo Boos.

Very interesting and I think this kind of picture with the "wrinkled glass" is a great photographic subject. On cropping, I think you should crop it more (above and below the handle) or less, showing the top and bottom. You have interesting shadows on the inside of the handle and directly opposite which might come out with severe cropping.
