Emily your shots of ordinary things close up is just amazing. How do you do it. How do you think of it?!!!! I love your unique style of photography, it really is so incredibly artistic. The composition, clarity and focus of this are perfection! How did you do the background?

I love this shot. I collect playing cards and love photography that includes them. I love the title and the clarity of this shot and how the queen of love looks as if she is sad which kinda says a story about how love really is. Beautiful shot. Thanks for posting.

Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history.
Spades: King David
Clubs: Alexander the Great
Hearts: Charlemagne
Diamonds: Julius Caesar
And I believe the Queen of Hearts represented Elizabeth of York, who married Henry VII...joining the York and Lancaster houses and ending the 7 year war.
