I love the combination of textures here. The softness of the sky in the back, the different angular lines of the tree's, the soft lines of the grass, The slick-but-scored surface of the ball contrasted against the polished sheen of the medal. Excellant combinations, that if done poorly would never work. But you have combined them into such a perfect display, such a evocative placement, that they work as if they were puzzle pieces aligned correctly.

Nice;y done, Emily. The picture is pretty explicit without showing more than the medal and part of the ball only taking up half of the frame. I like the subtle colors too. I think it works well as a DT.

Critical? About what? This is perfection! The depth of field is absolutely spot on as is the composition. I love the purply sky in the background too.
