Ahhh, I can't help myself, I have to post my junk yard texture shots. This is the second shot from the ol' scrap metal yard. It works well for a desktop because the dark texture is on the left and highlights the icons.( Stouffville, Ontario )

You're right, it does make a very good desktop! I love the use of shadow and the textures. Also like the nice crisp focus on the metal and the softer focus on the trees. Very interesting shot...I really like it! Keep up the good work.

Hi John, seems as if we'd share the same passion for rusted metal and other junk ;-))
I like this shot and own many similar pictures, haha...
Since I was a child I've been always fascinated by old and rusty metal parts, machines, etc.
I feel like these ole scrap metal parts kinda carry a secret with them... they have had better days, that's for sure and I'm curious about who has used them and what for.. ?

I like the textures and colours in this shot. I find the trees in the background slightly distracting.
