This is a little old mining town in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It is where the snowmobilers go to warm up in the winter and the riders of the Mickelson Bike Trail go to cool down in the summer. We have about a 120 mile railroad bed bike trail that goes through the hills. My daughter was doing the ride with her youth group when this picture was taken. We went to cook for them. All the local gossip happens at the saloon and they do have a mall (of sort) if they need to do some shopping.

Great job Jodie, this is perfect for gettin' away. Really like the out of the way places. Usually have some great people there too.

I have been asked to comment on your work. It's a wonderful shot with a superb composition. From a personal standpoint, I would have liked less sun. The glare tends to draw the eye away from the town, but then the name implies that was your intent. I still like the image though. These are comments and are in no way meant to demean your work.
