This is an old barn built back in the late 1800's. The barn sits along a dry creekbed that General Custer brought his men across. The owner, Ruby, who has now passed, lived in a big white farmhouse that sits left of the barn. Her husband passed away many, many years ago, and so it is now known as Ruby's Place.

What a beautiful rustic looking old barn! The fall colors really add to the overall composition of this too! Nice framing with the barn wood look as well. Good job all the way around Jodie. Putting it into my favs!

Marvellous composition, rich in color, texture, and ambience...super framing for this too...this was taken in South Dakota?...if so, it also has something of a nostalgic feel for me as my maternal grandmother was born in North Dakota and spoke of the Black Hills...I have several of her old b/w photos from these areas but none in good color so this goes on my desktop and in my favs for all the reasons listed...great job and thanks for sharing.:Pat.
