I apologise for the low quality of this picture, I have never taken a firework picture before. I took this tonight at our local Guy Fawkes Day celebrations. I was sitting on a sea wall, with the fireworks exploding over head,, trying not to lean back too far and fall off the wall lol.

That's a cool shot.. it reminded me that we completely forgot yesterday to celebrate Guy Fawkes day here in Jersey.. i was disappointed! Thanks for the post

Hello Jo.....I think that this photo is very good and you should give yourself a pat on the back......Photographing fireworks is one of the more difficult shots to get right.....A tip for you....Set your aperture around F 5.6, depending on the lens you are using and always use a tripod...All the best....Mick.
