It is a lovely old tree, thanks for sharing her with us! I love old trees, they always have a story or two to tell. I like the composition of this shot, nice angle.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hello Jo....This is a very nice picture.....You have'nt placed your subject dead-center in the frame......You have moved in close, shifted to one side, and gone up or down to make this an interesting composition....Keep it going....All the best....Mick.
Classic composition and framing with that beautiful old tree. I can't decide if I like that bottom bough or not...from the compositional perspective, it's probably kind of in the way; but from the interest perspective, it's very intriguing to see such a large limb grown out from so low on the tree itself.
