This is a plant in my garden that no matter how much I thin it out, it takes over every year. Its odd as a flower and then turns into a lovely seed pod later on ( often used in dried flower arrangments) Thank you for looking x

A beautifully clear shot Jo - such a pretty flower and I love the way it self-seeds.The way the foliage frames this is just lovely.
Also called Nigella - I wonder if Ms Lawson was named after this :)

I think it's a rather pretty flower. Great color and composition on this. Thank you for sharing this unique flower with us.

From quiet homes and first beginning, Out to the undiscovered ends, There's nothing worth the wear of winning, But laughter and the love of friends.

There's a loveliness about the hues in this composition that raise it up to a higher level. I like it a lot and am glad I saw it, although late :::sorry about that ::::
