There is a beautiful derelict "castle" by me that I have been in love with since I can remember when. Its snuggled into a mountain side over looking the sea, and to come home from holidays you have to pass it. When you see it, you know your home. I got to visit it last year before it went up for auction. There is a website about it that you can visit, and I have a few more pictures thatI took thatI will add here. The website is : Gwrych Sadly I couldnt afford the £1 million price tag, so I have to wait till it comes up again. Sorry that the sky is so bright

It's not unusual to become attached to buildings and especially when they represent a homecoming. Pass the hat next time..you never know!!

Now I think I want to buy one of your buildings. But alas, I can't afford it either. Nice post. From the angle that first step looks like a dilly. Vegetation adds color to otherwise pale building.
