These are the main entrance doors to our ancient church in Conwy. St Mary and All Saints, or in Welsh St Mair a holl sant. Inside there are some great points of interest, one floor slab that makes me smile when I see it, is in memory of one Nicholas Hookes. He was his fathers 41st child, and had 27 children himself There is a lot more information HERE

Now I know where the title: "Jolly St. Nicholas" came from. Everything seems to go back to Fogz post about her stag and lady friends tonight. I think both Nicholas and his father were probably Knights. Sounds like Nicholas probably never saw his mother. These door are peaceful looking and it looks like there's a mist in front of them. Gives them that heavenly look.
Great post.

A beautiful capture, as ever. It makes you want to go through the door just to see what's inside.

Cool capture. I can just imagine what would be behind them (cathedral, nah, lets go for a hidden room, or maybe it's a new land like the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe). That's an awesome shot, just perfect for my imagination.
