From my Up the Pass post, I have turned right to show you the view of Llanberis town. I am still in The slate museum There are many things to do in Llanberis and you could indeed spend a couple of days there. An exciting place to visit is Electric Mountain which is an underground tour of a power station deep in the mountain side. The snowdonia railway which takes you to the summit of the largest mountain in Wales and England also sets off from here. ( the left your picture is where the station is hidden.) Two lake railways as well, and so much more Llanberis Info here More in the tour to come soon, thank you for looking.

I'll go there if they will wipe my slate clean and let me start anew. Great photo with great links to very interesting information. What a great looking valley and a bench fit for a King, Queen or even a joker like Owd Bob. Good post Jo.

A wonderful scenic shot . I particularly like the cloud at the summit. It's very atmospheric.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
