Taken from the front of the quarry hospital looking towards the Llanberis Pass. There is a small area that more mobile patients could sit in the fresh air. The hospital is a wonderful step back in time, but I am glad that medical science has progressed since those days. There is some really great info HERE It cost pennies to get in, to support the volunteers who help out there with tours and the like. There are two ways to get to the hospital from the main part of Padarn, one is slighty hilly and through the forrest. You by pass the Quarry at a higher level, and other quarry workings. The other way is nice and flat till you get to so many steps lol. By the time you climb them all you need the hospital :)

Very nice. I like the composition and those mountains are awesome. I do wish there had been a little more lighting though.

I enjoyed your link and I also am enjoying your photo here..I have to agree that a bit of lighting or perhaps more contrast would make this come alive a bit more, but the composition is very good.

With a view like that, I would have thought it would be hard to get them to leave and return to work. Love all the green with mountain in back. Narrative and information was top notch. Very good JO.

Jo, are you being paid by the North Wales Tourist Board? Because if you're not, then you should be. The picture is great. You've managed to convey distance and size which I think is hard to do and your rubric introducing the picture is great (as have all the intros to this series).
