We were on the quay today when we noticed this pigeon sitting inside the litter bin behind him. It made us smile so I leaned on the small wall with my elbow to steady my arm when taking his picture......when.... he looked up and saw me. He hopped right out the bin and almost ran along the wall towards me. Just when I thought I was going to get a peck he stopped and posed for me lol. He didnt move till I clicked the shutter, then he turned his back to me in anoher pose. Thank you for looking

From what's just underneath him ,Jo, it looks like you scared him! lol! As you know I've photographed the odd pigeon in my time and this is a great capture. I love his general air of scruffiness.

I think you ruffled this birds feathers. He sure is like no pigeon I ever saw. Not even the Pigeon sisters on The Odd Couple. Your picture, in the time frame allowed, is great. You're a natural Jo.
