All closed up for the winter now, it looks a little folorn. I left the bin and sandbags in the picture to show how small it is. The last owner was a fisherman who was 6ft tall, Robert Jones. He couldnt stand up in any of the rooms and had to sleep with his feet hanging out of the window. It has one room downstairs which has just a tiny grate and two benches attached to the walls. The bedroom upstairs just fits a small bed and nothing else. You cant actually go further than the stairs into the bedroom as it means you have to climb onto the bed.

I’ve been looking at this for several minutes marvelling at how frugal life can be for some people. I guess it’s the perfect bachelor pad because the house cleaning and tidy up wont much time. It’s a thoughtfully composed and interesting photo.

I was looking forward to this since yesterday and it was worth the wait. I can't imagine a house that small. Great colors and clarity is just perfect. Nice post Jo.

Excellent,Jo. A programme on channel 5 the other week had the tallest man in Britain standing outside and he was level with the upstairs window! there used to be a house pretty much the same size as this in Liverpool on Wavertree Road but it's part of a pub now. Thanks for this shot Jo.

Looks like a great house for Tom Thumb. Was it built for dwarfs? Very interesting. Nice shot.

There's a movement on in America called "Living Small" that I read about not too long ago where people live in these really tiny houses, like this one...and do so just to cut down on clutter and such.

There is one thing that puzzles me about this: Is the red house part of the white one beside it? And the reason I'm wondering is that the white house also has the smallest house sign on it too... I'm easily confused, you see :)
