I was on the quayside today and came across a great piece of driftwood. There was a hole in the side where the sea water had stayed. I have to admit that I thought of how perfect it would be for the little folk to visit for a bit of cliff diving for the braver ones, and paddling in the shallows for the more genteel. Thank you for looking x

Boy I can see what you're talking about. I thought I was on edge of cliff when I first saw it. Then I read your narrative and felt somewhat better. Just a great job to notice this. Will make great desktop. Very nice photo Jo.

Jo, this is like one of those optical illusions where you are not sure whether you are looking up, down; in or out. The textures are great and the mud is so sticky. I would have had so much fun with this when I was a kid. Great shot.

I agree - it does have an am I looking up or down quality but have decided definitely looking down because I see the little beings frolicking about down there. well spotted Jo :)
