Conwy Lifeboat out on manouvers and practice. With my Dad always having fishing boats, we have always contributed to the RNLI I know all the lads on board her, and wish them and all the volunteers like them God speed. May their services be seldom needed.

Quite a fitting tribute to the RNLI,Jo. They do a wonderful and brave job. We hear the maroon go off to call the crew of the New Brighton life boat quite regularly. I wouldn't want to do their job in weather like we've been having recently. Great Shot!!

I have no idea what a maroon is but I assume it's like a siren. Nice tribute and enjoyed the website. Your photo is very good. I like how we learn things from all over the world. Thanks Jo

Great subject, and good link to the RNLI
Seems crazy sane people risk their own lives to rescue seaman for no monetary gain !! hey perhaps they're nuts. ;o)

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.
