This kitchen has been refurnished with a mix of original and replica items,, which were described in an inventory made in 1665. With the food, herbs and grass hay floor covering combine to make a wonderful smell. To our right is a huge fireplace ( next post) that was used for all the cooking. The table in front of us was a main preparation area. The nice part of this room is that is almost as though you have gone back in time, just a shame I cant post the smells on here for you.

With Owd Bob and the way he gasses up, it's probably a good thing about the smells. Very good Jo and that is one interesting cabinet. I would love to look through this house for real but since I can't I will enjoy this wonderful tour you are giving. Great series.
