Sorry we had to miss the toilet, it wasnt allowed. Ahh well,, onwards then. This is a servants room, situated between the rooms of Robert Wynn and his wife ( bedroom each) The mattress ont his bed is hard as hell and has lumps and bumps all over. He slept here incase he was needed in the night, hence why he was inbetween the two rooms. If this is accepted, thank you for looking xx

I'm standing here shifting from one foot to the other. Why won't they allow the toilet. Pain, agony. If this was a luxury home, I shudder to think what the regular ones looked like. I guess it depends on the gender of the servant as to who needed them most during the night. Another great one Jo. Love this tour.

Shame about the loo :(

This looks quite a sparce room - I wonder how often he was called to either Mr or Mrs. Maybe just as well the matreess was not too comfy - kept him on the alert :)

I was going to say that I thought that the bed looked comfy - NOT!But at least this servant got a bed, most servants then probably wouldn't have been so lucky! Another excellent part of the tour, MFJ. Where next?
