This is the Great Hall ladies and gentlemen. We came in here through the door you can see on the far wall. The chink of window you can see through the door is from the servants room from my last post. The ladies bedroom is just to the right along the corridor as we look at the door, and in there next. This room was reconstructed as perfectly as it could be, after a lot of research. The tapestries on the walls and seats are replicas. The table at the far end is laid ready for a meal. We are about half way across the room standing by the fire place. We will see both in more detail soon. This is where Robert would do his more important dealing, as opposed to the entrance hall downstairs. I think we should sit down a moment and just take in all the details of the room.. take a seat on the wall seats that go around three of the walls. Thank you for looking xx

Just another good one in your series Jo. I think this is my favorite thus far. Good shot concerning the restrictions of the room. You're a great tour guide.

What an absolutely wonderful room, Jo, with that magnificent ceiling and wonderful frieze running round the walls and it's so colourful. Fantastic! A really good shot and great narrative.
