Taken yesterday on a cold january afternoon. I was surprised at how clear this came out as it was taken almost at a full zoom. This fishing boat is actually in the middle of the river.

The houses in the background are a village called Deganwy. Its between Conwy and Llandudno. Some famous residents of Deganwy have been..

Officer Harold Lowe who served aboard the Titanic

Jack Howarth who played Albert Tatlock in the oh soo long running soap Coronation Street

Who knew Deganwy was so famous? Great view of the cold, calm river.

If you have a garden please feed the birds this winter, & supply drinking water not ice, it's so important. . . . Please help dwindling bird numbers survive.

Such an attractive shot - the red boat is a perfect foil to the high landscape beyond.

Wonderful....And thanks for the memory of that place too!

That 'harbour' has a lot going for it!...

If I had to 'nitpick'...I would placed the boat, slightly more off-center!.....But thats just me...

Such a peaceful setting and it looks a little foggy. The clarity is good throughout. Great shot Jo.

Incredible clarity and I love how the boat just pops in the photo against a grey dull day. Great work Jo.
