Again taken at Denbigh Asylum

This is the west wing, off the main centerpart of the building. I still can't describe the feeling you get standing in the grounds, looking up at those windows, just wondering what used to go on inside. The silence is total, its very eerie just how silent it is. Its an odd mix of feeling really, scared, awe at the beautiful architecture, sadness at the history of the inmates... etc. I did take some internal shots also.

Thank you so much for looking and any comments. I always appreciate it xx

I'm with you Jo, it's scary to think of all the awful things that really did go on in this absolutely stunning building. The methods they used back then would be terrible to think about

Even the grass refuses to grow next to the building BC. Evil still lurks in as lost souls cry out for retribution.
What a wonderful shot. The tone is perfect for the mood.

What an ominous place! But really cool at the same time!! It has a feel to it that I bet those who were put into this place felt very very well! How old is this place?

Think I could book a suite of rooms in this place? I'll take the one with the balcony please.
A great capture of this dismal looking building. The lighting and dramatic sky really set the mood.
