A view of the front main wing, including the grand entrance that you can see from the Main Gates This was quite eerie as there were so many windows looking out at us and we just couldnt see through them or who could have been looking out at us.

The whole place makes you feel in awe, oppressed, sad, melancholic and relieved that your on the outside. Its very very hard to explain the impact that the hospital has on you, only to say that its massive. Walking the corridors and wards of the inside makes you feel so tiny and insignificant, but strangly also screams at you that you shouldnt be there. Its an experience thats for sure, one that will stay with me for ever.

I may post some more from the day, but just in case, I would like to thank you all for joining me on this tour, and that I hope you all manage to leave...... Thank you xxxx

I liked the image you painted with the staring out the windows BC. It compliments the mood of the photo perfectly.
This song reminds me of the inmates who were reaching out for help. Good post BC.

What an impressive place! You picked the perfect day to give the place that ominous feel! Great shot!
