This image is dedicated to the memories of :

Cpl Jake Hartley, 20. Pte Anthony Frampton, 20 Pte Daniel Wade, 20 Pte Christopher Kershaw, 19 Daniel Wilford, 21 Sgt Nigel Coupe, 33

All six young soldiers were killed in an explosion in Afghanistan yesterday. May they rest in peace.

This is my Grandad pictured at a Rememberance service at the centotaph in Colwyn Bay. He was very active in the Fire Service, and became very important in the North West. He was also dedicated to the Scout movement and was instrumental in the creation of many camps around Wales and the North West of England. His military life was within the Welsh Guards which he was very proud of.

May they rest in eternal peace.

So sorry to hear the bad news of War Casualties. Way too young to die so soon. I'll say a Prayer for them.

Such a waste men dying in wars in this day and age BC. A very great tribute to both them and your Grandad.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
