Now I see the background clear from "Focus, Man!". Great shot...may want to crop just a bit more from the top to eliminate the land on the other side. Minor stuff makes a big impact...excelent clarity:-)

No, not from a plane. You drive up this one lane road to an overlook. I was there a few years ago and took this same shot. In my shot, the boat with the red sail is docked. I should post it.

Thanks for the comments everyone, they're all appreciated :D Just to clear this up, the pic was indeed taken from the edge of a cliff.. If you're ever in the Lake District, just go to the "Surprise View" landmark...
