This is a fantastic drive most of the way from San Francisco down to Santa Barbara... We were very lucky in that it was merely a bit misty rather than foggy.... Unfortunately I have yet again made the horizon a little unlevel - my only excuse is that the horizon was blurred by the mist and it was very difficult to make out on the LCD screen...

This looks a computer generated image with the mist etc. I imagine it is beautiful on a clear day. FYI, your hoirzon can always be leveled in a photo-editing program on your computer. Many here are availabe to help you if you need it. Thanks :))

Great shot.. my family and i used to live in socal when i was a baby, and i have seen quite a number of pictures of big sur coast, my father used to run it all the time. i especially like this one because of the mist on the water and the not so sunny sky, it is atypical of what you usually see.. great work!
