It may be just me but I think this is a tad too simplistic. Try using a gradient background and playing with the effects.

Or if you really like abstract art, try playing with a fractal editor. They can be a lot of fun.

I don't draw swrils and curley-qews

I find the paintshop effects interesting - reminds me of hieroglyphics. I wish they filled the page.

thats the direction I'm going. the big problem is filling the background
