Apop.Photofiltre. Do you remember the old "War of The Worlds" the Orson Wells version? Not the new one with Tom Cruise. The machines they had in that looked alot like this I think, although theirs were green. It was a better movie anyway, sorry Tom. Hope you like it. Thanks a bunch. J

When I first saw the title, I felt uneasy, thinking this must be serious and am I prepared to see it? To think that a dangerous creature like this is your roomate....A fright. It looks like the Martians from the original movie, which still give me shivers when I think of it. I like the new version, but I agree, the original was best. Super job here John. :)

Tom will get over it..or not..but who cares!? LOL This does look a lot like the ones in the original. At least thats what somebody told me..of course I wasnt around back then..much too young to recall anything about that. LOL Good one John!

Before I read your comments, the pic reminded me a little bit of a stylized jelly fish :) But, yes, I saw the original and yes, this does evoke that movie image, but beyond that, this is a very pretty desktop. Nice job :)PJ

I do like it. I agree with Pat....reminds me of some kind of jelly fish. Never saw either War of the Worlds films. But I have heard the older version is better. Back to this fractal....Great bright red glow!

The original War of the Worlds was far more superior to the newest remake. There has been several remakes but the one made in the late 50s was far better. Yes they were green but ya know...I like the red better!!! Excellent work! :)

This is wonderful and It does remind me of the aliens in the first one of W.O.W or it could be from the day of the trifords. Great work
