That ruby shade makes this ''space'' image really dramatic looking. A place I would gladly visit. Event Horizon also means a phenomena that happens near a black hole, distorting the reality of what you see, I think. Great work, John. :)

Very nice. the line of color across really give the look of an horizon with a spout of color. GreAT design.

Nice work again John. The movie? It was about a guy who failed Brain Surgery School and made a living naming pictures.

Edit: John did not wash out of Brain Surgery School, he just made a few 'mistakes' and was demoted. If you ever need some brain surgery be sure to see John...I'm sure he will do a fairly good job.

I have no idea, but I love the 3D effect John - like a lost World or maybe we are just floating around in Space! :) Patti

Reminds me of beautiful silk and satin materials - richly coloured cloth and smooth, deeply dyed ribbons.

Good job!

Picture Purrrfect . Some people are like slinky's, completely useless but still a lot of fun when you push them down the stairs. 8~O

Creepy but beautiful... Amazing flame. And i see why you chose the name... It looks like an atmosphere of a planet, with something huge coming off... And its own atmosphere refracted by... something. way cool

Your placement is perfect. The colors, some of my favorites.

The only "negative" is a little grainy, but not to excessive.(Don't know if it could be fixed or not.)

Overall, really nice image. Still worthy of my fav's. ;)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
