This is not a spiral, it was worked and worked with the triangles in apophysis :-) and is just a random batch flame with no mutation or variations either. Reminded me of an ancient tomb type architecture or maybe even alien. LOL FULL VIEW for the best effect. Thanks hope ya like it and all comments are truly appreciated. J...............done with apo. and photofiltre.

Very interesting detail in this image. This is very different for you -- much darker. Great job, lion man.

I don't have a clue what a "nefertiti" is, but it sure is beautiful. I like the colors & texture especially. Great job John.

I don't know what the title refers to, except to guess it might be an ancient tomb, but this is stunning. It reminds me of cords or ropes - maybe a craft based on these which coils them on top of each other, overlapping and joining until the final product is satisfactory to its purpose and/or to the craftsperson. Presumably some sort of needlework to stitch the cords together, but, if it really is alien, who knows what kind of techniques might be involved?

I like the delicate colouring and wispy detail of this. It is very structured overall and quite a simple design, but the details are complex and fascinating.

Nefertiti

Deffinitly worthy of a queen. :o)

The cables remind me of the colored titanium you often see in body piercing jewelry. Awesome job.

This IS GORGEOUS! Wow! Blows me away that you could derive such an image like this with that software, but you do and you did and it's wonderful! I love the name too! Definitely a keeper!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It's terrific, Mr. Cowardly, although I am surprised that you would be walking about with rope in your pockets remembering that your friend the Scarecrow is so afraid of fire..hmmm..or doesn't the Scarecrow have a membership here? *chuckles* It's great, really..all kidding aside and I am learning every time I see an upload of yours.

I agree it looks lke twisted cables - very beautiful coloured ones. But the title makes me think Queen Neferiti would have been impressed, and may have employed you as chief designer
