I dunno about birds of paradise - I immediately thought of parrots/macaws as soon as I saw it without reading the description so I guess that's mission accomplished for you then :-)

Superb colour, shape and movement. I think your other upload today is outstanding even by your standards, but this one is not too far behind, either. Wonderful lines. Deceptively simple. I see a whirry thing whirring in the wind, with birds - or their feathers, anyway - clustering close, almost part of the windmill.
