Well I thought I'd give ya an update on my condition. I'm OK and have started rehab therapy this week. I get to go to a great big olympic size pool 3 times a week at the Uof I and walk around in the water for 2 hrs, plus a few other mobility things. I've got a great therapist......she's 25 and looks gooooooood in her suit. That's for (Motivation) I think. :) :) Gwen goes with me too so she can swim laps (and keep an eye on me) LOL.........owwwww.......she looks great in her suit too...there ya happy ?? LOL All kinds of doctors and specialists come to look me over and are totally amazed at how well I am doing and that nothing went wrong. LMAO Covering their butt I guess. :) I'm a tuff ol' lion and I guess they didn't realize that. LOL I will be commenting soon on your images but I can't just yet.........too much to type and sit for very long.....but I've seen them all. Everyone take care and I luv ya all. :) John

Ya know what John? This looks perfect for Christmas decorations! I love your design and colors. Great work as usual buddy! Hope all is well and you're healing properly. :) :)
Do the big cats like water any better than the small domestic types?...sure hope so...Get well soon, John...though I must say your current condition hasn't affected your fractalizing any... very festive and Christmassy...quite lovely.
When I first saw this from the thumbview I was thinking dreamcatchers. Then when I opened to full view I went WOW ~ beautiful & colorful lighting. Strings of lights with glittery stars on a X-mas tree ~ yep, thats it. Beautiful work John & glad to hear you are doing much better.
good to know they cant keep that lion down for long!!
glad the therapy is going well!! and also that nothing went wrong!! this is gorgeous! i love the stringy bits!!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Sounds like you're just as hard to handle IRL as you are on this side of the screen, and if Gwen has her hands full with you already and it sounds like it, then I know you're getting better.
Thanks for the update and the wonderful fractal...glad to hear you're improving..I'll answer the door at the gate of the Emerald City for you so don't worry.
Here's a recent excerpt from a song I heard while tending to the said gate:
"You're out of the woods
You're out of the dark
You're out of the night
Step into the sun
Step into the light
Keep straight ahead for
The most glorious place
Of the earth or the sky
Hold onto your breath
Hold onto your heart
Hold onto your hope --
March up to the gate
And bid it open --- open --- open."
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
This image makes me think of many things. I love ther ambience of mystery and the cavern like feel. Fascinating. I'm so happy to hear that kind of news!No wonder you're a lion, you tough old thing! :)
