The bloody enforcers for the church, they are said to know where The Holy Grail is. You can read more HERE if you'd like. This just had a medieval look to it, and I take some history with a grain of salt.......depends on who's telling it. :) LOL Thanks for the views and comments. J

John, I went to the link & you are right this does have a medieval feel to it. I have never heard of the Templars before, but they do sound like a highly structered organization of Knighthood. Somewhat fearsome too, but like everyone else they had their beliefs back then / now. Maybe this represents some sort of shield or emblem. Great colors & detail too. Excellent work.

Ok...Here I go with what I think..lol..Looking at this especially fullscreen, it looks a blow up of the back of a very fancy loveseat. Overly stuffed of course..lol..But its really beautiful John! Grand colors and design buddy!

Wonderful image, John. Can't take history with a grain of salt because it has such bearing on what is happening today. I didn't like history in grade school, but I never had a teacher who make it come alive, except for the semester spent on mythology, I was disinterested. You did give pause for thought with your lovely fractals.
