It only has a 14" bowl to swim in!!! but it still took me a full two hours to get a good enough shot of of this _shy_ 1" long fish. - get it? shy - coy - koi? aw never mind :P
Maybe that's a male Koi Jeremi, get it???? you don't have a lot to offer....... get a female in another bowl....... Oh forget it......... LMAO Good one bud,
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry D. Thoreau
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
A great shot, but as former secretary of my local aquarium club, I feel obliged to point out that your picture is of a goldfish, not a koi.
I love the way you captured all of the fin rays in such clear detail, especially on the caudal fin. Lovely.
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
YES, I still love you...YES...I am still your friend...YES...I care about your work...*sigh* I have just been incredibly busy and have little time to be on Caedes lately...
I get it Jeremi LOL and I truly admire your patience to have gotten a result as superb as this. The lighting, clarity and DOF is amazing. This little guy has just swam into my favorites.
I saw this one's title first before having had a chance to view the image, and was most intrigued ... and was certainly not disappointed upon viewing.
A very, very nice shot.
Great composition and an excellent technical visual expository of your talents and obvious enthusiasm for photography.
The beautiful and flowing form of your 'shy' friend is exquisitively shown here in your capture. Wonderfully silhouetted by a most complimentary backdrop. Really nice work.
Caveats? Very minor. I might ... humbly suggesting here ... have cloned out that one 'white' piece of material that has adhered to the the main dorsal fin ... it is but of the smallest distraction, make no mistake about my intention here. I do get the impression that you are a perfectionist in your craft and make mention of it for that reason.
And perhaps some additional contrast to bring out the right-hand side of the body ... and you would have achieved perfection in my mind. As is ... excellent.
Nice work and thank you for your efforts. :o)
So ... tell us ... what's it like to view the world as a cat waiting on dinner? :oP
