v late evening shot of the pond below the Maleniec millpond overspill sluce. The light is dying quickly. I'm stood under the bridge of the road exactly next to the tiny 'SHROOM this was such an idilic spot. Warm, peaceful and out of the way. I didnt see any beavers this evening but they are there witness the tree!

Darn Dunstickin alway beats me to the response and steals words from my fingers. I think the tree just rotted out and fell, maybe because it was in the pond created by beavers. Wonder if anyone heard it fall. upper right corner is my favorite part of the pic. The mist on the other side of the clearing.

A very surreal, mysterious image. I like the low-light situation for this image. There's some noise associated with it but it's effective for this subject, maintaining the reflections and detail in the shadows. anne :-)
