Vistula (polish name Wisla) River is the biggest river in Poland. I made this photo just before the big flood in Poland last may. The level of the surface of Vistula is about 6 meters higher than usual. And it was the highest level ever noticed. In the background, behind the bridge, you can see Wawel Castle.

The colors shown are so appropriate for a dank, dark, rainy day. This is a really beautiful picture when viewed full size. Thanks and I hope to see more of this quality.

This is a great shot and one of those that sets me to figuring out the mechanics of it. At first I thought that object with the railing on it might be floating until I looked closer at the water and saw turbulence being pulled toward the bridge. That would only happen if the railed object were stationary. It also tells me which direction the current is running, further indicated by the small "surf-like" waves hitting the bottom of the bridge just to the right of the railed object. I always like a photo that makes me think, thanks. Great HDR as well, nice job.
