Hi! This one came up on the voting booth. It's a good picture. I like the composition a lot, but the lighting is too harsh. Also, a tighter crop would help, IMHO.

I love the glass and flower, but I do think it would be better with a black (or color) background.. just my opinion. Great idea though!

As a poet I think this is an absolutely brilliant idea, totally original but also totally accessible and evoking multiple things all at once while being incredibly simple. It deserves more work. I'm not sure what exactly, maybe the comment about a black background, different framing, eg maybe the whole glass in the picture would add something? I think the conception is genius and would love to see some different versions of it to see what expresses the conception with the greatest impact. Fantastic!
