After finishing up on a wheat field, my dad stopped the combine for a few minutes, just long enough for me to get a great picture. I obvisiouly edited the picture, but I personally think it looks better like this! Comments are welcome and enjoyed! :)

I like the feel of this piece, you've put some nice combinations together and seem to have a good grasp of your paint program...a bigger verion would have been nice. As for suggestions, I think if the entire combine was in the shot, it would have added a stronger impact (too many elements are getting cut off the edges...which makes me struggle a bit on a focal point). I'm also not sure the stars and paisley filter on the words enhance the work any (I find those elements a bit out of place). I like the angle the combine was shot at and think the black & white fit the piece nicely. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing more of your submissions.

I like the bright yellow of the flower but I feel like HARVEST makes this phot too busy and distracts from the original photo.

Well, you get an A+ for originality, creativity and perspective. I tend to agree with the comments above although I like the overall collage effect of the piece. The vignetting adds to the general tone, but I think you might have tried to cram too much into one shot. Anyway, that's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

I personally like this photo a lot. To me it has an old time feel to it. I think with the yellow flower it just completes it.
Just my opinion...

thank you so much for taking the time and sharing it...

Your enthusiasm is great, but the picture is very unbalanced. The text is extremely distracting and takes up about as much space as what is showing of the combine... and is totally responsible for the imbalance.
A alternative is to Save the image without any text, copy the image to clipboard and Open a New Matte of larger size than the image. Paste the image to the matte and add your text outside the image. Crop the matte off, except whichever border/area you placed the text.
