My uncle standing behind a rather large banana spider hanging out on his web in my grandpa's old horse trailer!

Excellent shot! Love the pattern and colors on spider. This pic would be nicer if taken at a higher resolution. Maybe different background, still an excellent focus!

I agree with the comment above. Typically a dark background seems to work best for accentuating a good macro. The pixels could be increased to get a sharper image, but that is one creepy looking spider nonetheless.

Never drink prune juice when you're thirsty.

I don't know if it was intentional but having the man behind the spider almost makes the spider seem much larger than it really was (I assume.) the detail of the spider and web are excellent. the spider seems slightly out of focus, maybe you were inside your focal length and the mix of light and shadow is a tiny bit distracting. But you have to shoot what you have - and it is an excellent shot. Thank you!!

It is a good spider shot. However, I agree with some of the above comments, in that the background figure and the dark images are a significant distraction. A depth of field tool does a pretty good job of isolating the spider, but retaining the strands of web were beyond my capabilities.

Creepy looking spider but you captured it well.
