It's a perfect capture of this interesting bloom. Unusual coloring. Might have been nice to have gotten the bottom bloom out of there, this is just my opinion though. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Starglow as noted above. I probably would have eliminated the bloom in the foreground and concentrated on the primary subject. It's a very interesting flower bloom. Never seen one like it before. Perfect macro close up's are very difficult. To me it looks only slightly out of focus. I like the contrast of the slightly blurred leaves in the background. It appears that the photo was taken on an overcast day since I don't see much in the way of shadows. When you figure out how to take a macro in perfect daylight without creating a shadow from your camera, please let me know. Very nice job.

I have to agree with Carol and Roger about removing the bottom bloom. A nice close-up capture of this beautiful bloom. Lovely colours and presentation. Thanks for sharing.

They gave you good advice on this one Sheldon. I just looked at number two and the improvement is very noticeable.

Very nice!! I really like the colors. One thing bout nature is it isn't always perfect. With that said I am happy you didn't take the bottom bloom out. I am very fond of nature’s natural look. Just my opinion...
