This is Bessie the mule’s old plow that now has been retired to the field of old plows. You see when farm equipment gets too old to use around here they make it into lawn ornaments.

Good clarity here Sheldon...the plow is so crisp and well focused. I did notice on my trip many front yards with old farming items as an ornamental piece.

Nice angle and composition in your shot Sheldon. Good clarity and textures in the old rusted iron. Nicely captured and thanks for sharing.

Frances told me her Cousin Bessie loved this disc plow when it was sitting idle and gathering rust. It was a different story in the hard clay. There are many who use old farm implements as decorations around here as well.
Great shot Sheldon.

What an excellent subject to work with. I'm envious. The detail in the rusty plow is excellent. And I love the old wheel in the right background. Every shot seems to get better, Sheldon. Lawn ornament, huh? Maybe a pot of daisies sitting on the seat would help them.

Hello Sheldon...This is a good closeup showing plenty of detail and colour in your subject...Over here in the UK we call these discs which are used to break up the soil after ploughing....Well done....All the very best to you Sheldon.............................................Mick.
