Angel told me not to mess with this photo so I didn’t.
Let us know who was right. LOL
I changed the title after Roger pointed out that there are orange and yellow flowers in the shot.
Sheldon
First of all it's a sea of orange and yellow, but who cares about that? They are very pretty flowers (marigolds?), but I would feel better if they were not quite so random or if they were bunched closer together. There's something about the large dark gaps in the foreground especially that should be filled with something other than a dark void. Something seems a little unfocused to my untrained eye. It's a good idea. Maybe I'm just getting tired of all of these spring time flower photos, but that's just me.
Marigolds are such nice flowers Sheldon. There is some truth in what Rogers says. A little contrast would make them pop more as well.
Snoopy (Genver) does the full frame flowers shots very well. Here is a good example. I use all the fine artists on here to learn. That is the great thing about this site.
That being said I like the shot very much for it colors.
I like the colours of your sea Sheldon, though they could use some brightening. I agree with Roger's comment about the gap in the blooms. Perhaps cropping the shot on the right and bottom could help; or shoot more to the left. Shift the focus to the central orange flower in the foreground. Nice job and thanks for sharing, ~Wendell
Nice job, although I might have taken the shot from a different angle, there is quite a space between the left and right side where there could have been another row maybe. Just a thought here you know.
