Yes..sea urchins..gosh I cant staNd how prickly they look! And over here they cook them, let the prickles fall off, then eat the insides...once they have cleaned them, and refill them with something made of the meat..such as soup , stew, etc..I love seafood, but cant get myself to eat these..NO way...interesting shot tho Ewa..

Usually, these are eaten raw. The roe (eggs) is a firm yellow-orange mass in the body cavity. Enough biology, this image is nice and clear and the pattern is not too overpowering to make good desktop material. - Dave
